COMMITMENT LETTER

Before submitting your application, carefully read the following form and sign with your full name in uppercase; by doing this, you commit to respecting the rules and regulations stipulated by Visión Global in case you are accepted and added to the team, always attending to the team leader and the ministry we visit with excellence, accepting to conduct yourself always under great ministry ethics, doing everything solely and exclusively for the Glory of God and the extension of His Kingdom.

I. VISIÓN GLOBAL POLICIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct the expedition according to the objectives stipulated in the candidate’s invitation. Expose the expedition participant to the reality of the country, always taking the necessary precautions to ensure an enriching experience. Visión Global is not responsible in case of issues with flights, travel agencies, or flight losses. Visión Global has the right to cancel a missionary trip in case of emergencies or social issues in the visited country. Only in this case will the expedition fee be refunded (not the airplane tickets). Visión Global does not provide refunds in case of cancellation by the missionary, nor does it allow transferring the money to another person. Visión Global is not liable for expenses in case of the missionary’s illness and hospitalization; hence, having medical insurance is important. Visión Global is not responsible in the event of incidents beyond our control, such as kidnapping, loss, or death. Visión Global does not negotiate with terrorists. Visión Global accepts spiritual responsibility and commits to guiding the expedition participant through their cultural, emotional, and spiritual adjustments. However, the organization reserves the right to dismiss the expedition participant during the missionary trip due to misbehavior and/or failure to comply with our policies and guidelines (without the option of a refund).

II. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

• I accept the biblical norms and guidelines of Visión Global for the proper execution of my participation in this missionary trip. • I acknowledge Visión Global’s commitment to fully comply with requirements, both logistical and in terms of training, from the organization in my place of origin, including the recruitment of intercessors and financial supporters. • I submit to the rules of Visión Global and the missionaries in the country. I am subject to my leaders, and I will accept and correct any observations about my behavior, spiritual life, and testimony. • My attitude and conduct will be that of a learner, aiming to make the most of this opportunity granted to me. • Maintain a discipline of prayer and Bible reading from this moment until the end of the expedition. • Raise a group of intercessors who will pray for me from this moment until the end of the expedition. • I am responsible for the financial expenses associated with this expedition, committing to respect the payment deadlines. • Accept the decision of the missionary field to conclude my program in the event that my supporters do not fulfill their faith promise, and consequently, the agreed-upon amount for this field is not met. • Appoint a representative who, in the event of a fatal accident, will cover the expenses of transporting the body from the field to the place of origin. In coordination with the Visión Global office, all necessary procedures for the transfer of the body will be carried out. Preferably, this representative should have decision-making authority. • Serve my church upon return, sharing my testimony and experiences with the congregation, and getting involved in everyday activities. • I understand that every individual and/or church that financially supported me is contributing to a cause, not to my personal needs. • I cannot use money donated by a church or individual sponsors for personal use. In case I cancel the trip for reasons unrelated to the ministry, it is my responsibility to provide Visión Global with the money raised for the trip. By doing so, I ensure that the funds are used for the intended purpose for which they were collected and/or donated. • I cannot use the Visión Global logo to raise money for personal purposes. • I cannot use photographs taken during a missionary trip for future projects, whether personal or unrelated to the ministry.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER

I assume all responsibility for participating in any/all activities carried out by Visión Global ministry at the expedition location, including at my own risk and without limitation to any risks that may arise from the current situation and COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) illness. Furthermore, I am willing to cover all medical expenses in case I contract any illness during the expedition. I CERTIFY that I am in good physical condition, that I have sufficient preparation or training to participate in this activity, and that I have not been advised by a qualified medical professional not to participate. I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE Visión Global from any liability, including flight cancellations and/or delays. I acknowledge that the organizers of the activity in which I may participate will use this form for accident and liability release, and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities in said activity.
